RestPest ("we", "us") is operated by AZ123 in Ontario, Canada. RestPest is a referral service: we connect people who need pest control with independent, licensed pest control companies in Toronto and the GTA. This policy explains what we collect and what we do with it.
What we collect
- What you submit in our quote form: your first name, phone number, postal code, the pest problem you select, and, if you provide them, your email address and any details you add.
- Basic technical information your browser sends when you visit (such as device type and pages viewed), and, if we use analytics or advertising tools, data collected by those tools.
How we use it
- To pass your request to a licensed pest control company that serves your area, so it can contact you with a quote.
- To follow up on your request and improve our service.
- To measure how our website and ads perform.
Who we share it with
We share your request only with the pest control company (or companies) we match you with, and with service providers that help us run this website (such as our hosting and form provider). We do not sell your personal information to data brokers.
Your consent and choices
By submitting the form and ticking the consent box, you agree that we and the matched provider may contact you about your request by phone, text or email. You can withdraw consent, or ask to see, correct or delete your information, at any time by emailing hello@restpest.ca.
How long we keep it
We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes above, or as required by law.
